I began my career in screen and stage writing about eight years ago. Since then, I have written several plays and collaborated with various production companies on a wide range of projects. I am comfortable writing in different genres and formats, both independently and in collaboration. Over time, my path led me to documentary filmmaking, as I felt the need to express certain things myself — through the eye of the camera.
For several years, I filmed circuses around the world — working alone as director, cinematographer, sound recordist, and editor. I fully organized these shoots as a creative producer, from pre-production to post-production, and often built deep relationships with the protagonists, even when we didn’t speak the same language.
These years gave me a rich human and professional experience. My films have been recognized at major international festivals.
Drawing on this experience, I later moved into fiction filmmaking. This transition to narrative cinema coincided with my relocation to France, which gave new momentum to my artistic journey and opened up many new projects, collaborations, and perspectives.
