The crackling
Feature film (script in development)
Charlotte, a young woman with amnesia, lives in a vast refugee camp known as “the Jungle,” without knowing who she is or where she comes from. Around her, people are obsessed with one goal — to cross from France to England at any cost — while Charlotte searches for money for treatment and a chance to recover her memory. In the evenings, her Syrian friend shares stories of her homeland. Charlotte tries these memories on as if they were clothes, imagining herself in other lives — but each vision falls apart. Everything changes when her own tragedy triggers the awakening of her true memories. Yet the truth about her past turns out to be far more terrifying than she is ready to face.

A young couple, Lena and Anton, together with their dog Beliy, are stranded in a remote village, hiding from something terrifying that would have awaited them in the outside world. More precisely — it was Anton who was in danger, but Lena had to follow him, and this begins to weigh on her. In the middle of everyday hardships, without the comforts of her usual life, Lena notices that her memories of the past are slowly slipping away. Her childhood, her friends, even her recent life with Anton in the outside world — she can only recall them when she touches Beliy’s fur, as if it preserves her memory. Everything changes one night, when Beliy is killed.
